# OutbidJobs

OutbidJobs is a self-service job-posting and matching marketplace for employer roles, candidate talent signals, and independent scout bounties. It is not a recruiting, staffing, or employment agency.

The launch market is limited to work performed in the United States or Canada. Candidates must attest current legal work authorization in the selected country and no need for employer visa sponsorship. Employers may be headquartered anywhere. Eligibility must never be inferred or decided from nationality, birthplace, race, ethnicity, accent, religion, or immigration history.

Talent and scout personas require owner-approved U.S./Canada market access before marketplace actions. Employers may be headquartered elsewhere but require separate company review. Country, state/province, city, ZIP/postal code, network-country signals, and review reasons are private. A location review is not identity, nationality, citizenship, or work-authorization verification.

The API is read-only during public beta. It returns only published, public listings. Use `country=US` or `country=CA` to filter. Every result includes `workCountry` and a neutral `eligibility` object. It excludes account email, owner identifiers, resumes, private contact details, storage keys, drafts, matched-only records, invite-only records, nationality, citizenship details, visa type, and moderation data. A booking URL appears only when its owner explicitly chooses public booking visibility.

## Ranking semantics

Employer role ranks and optional candidate spotlight ranks each start at $5 as a one-time whole-dollar amount. Raising an existing post charges only the difference. Rankings are separate by country, discipline, and side. Paid rank changes labeled category visibility, never qualifications, consent, applications, or private-data access.

## Agent rules

Respect visibility, candidate consent, platform rules, rate limits, and listing status. Do not scrape private surfaces, infer protected characteristics, spam candidates, blind-submit profiles, or present OutbidJobs as the recruiting representative.
